I have been reading Outside.

In my book I have learned so much about 
animals.

Did you know that ant hills have traps in them.

Did you know some Reptiles and Frogs dance and some sing
the males sing and the females dance
and if the females like the song that the males sing then they come together.

 Did you know that reptiles actually have three eyes but the third eye is not actually for looking it's just gives the animal an idea about the light that's around it.

Trip to Australia

I went to Australia where it is warmer than Gisborne.  It was awesome, we did so much, we went to the theme parks, fun arcades, mall and lots more place's.
Our hotel was called Peppers Soul which was in Surfers Paradise. It had a warm pool and a icy pool, a flash TV, a cool gym, awesome view , and much more.

This is my drawing of my chapter chat activity  at school. I had to make a picture of the people from our shared book 'The Explorer' running away from the snake. This is how it turned out.

Improving my skating

I have improved in my skateboarding. My goal is to become a pro skateboarder and I think I'm going pretty good so far.

Wainui is getting a half pipe - one of our teachers has set up a donation page and some of us are going to write letters asking businesses for help.
If we get it we need some rules.
These are some rules I came up with: Share the ramp,be respectful, one person at a time, and be safe (wear a helmet!).

On this video I ari 1.55 meters it was pretty scary!!!

Sloths for Chapter Chat

The book we are reading for Chapter Chat is 'The Explorer'.  In the book - the kids find a sloth.

We had to find out information about sloths.  This is my work to show what I found out.  The thing I found the most interesting is that they are clumsy on land but really good swimmers!

I drew this on google drawings. I got a picture of a sloth and uploaded on my google drawings. I picked the polyline at the top of my page and I clicked around the spots that I wanted to color in.

my timetable

Hello my name is Taj  and welcome back to my blog. My timetable has helped me alot with my tasks that I have to finish. I think it is a very good tool for my work. A timetable is something you put in order and finish it in the amount of time you have. Also I get sent a workshop from my teachers we fill in a form so we can go into the perfect place for our READING, WRITING AND MATHS.

I like having a timetable because it helps me finish my work faster than I normally do.  I am learning to be more organised.
